Thank you Indiana for Protecting my Religious Freedom!
As a business owner in Indiana I would like to thank our legislators for their hard work to ensure that my religious freedoms are not discriminated against in this godless culture in which we now live.
I am thankful that I can now practice my religion without fear of being forced to serve those who contradict with my sacred, God-ordained beliefs. Now I know you were concerned about the bakery down the street being forced to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, but quite honestly, the gays don’t bother me. But I’ll tell you what really gets my goat! The other day this man came into my establishment and he had the look of pride on his face. I was appalled! As I’m sure you know, the Lord God has more to say about pride than any other sin in the Bible. In fact, pride is the first sin mentioned in that list from Proverbs commonly referred to as “The 7 Deadly Sins” Number one is a proud look. God said He hates it more than just about anything else in this world. I intend to honor my God and I will no longer be serving anyone who comes in with a look of pride on their face.
Also on that list of things God hates is, a liar. Now I fear that this means that many politicians (perhaps including yourself) will not be allowed into my place of business but I will not be forced to serve a liar, that would be against my religion.
And do you know what I saw the other day? I was in the grocery store and I saw people reading hollywood gossip magazines. Now that really made me angry because God is very clear about how much he hates anyone who is a “false witness” or goes around encouraging mischief or saying things that cause problems between people. And I just know that those magazines are the primary reason Brad and Jennifer are no longer together. So I will NOT be serving anyone who reads those magazines, posts gossip on Facebook, watches the news or disguises the latest gossip about a friend in the form of a “prayer request” at church.
I also want you to know that I will NOT be serving members of the miltary for they are responsible for the deaths of many innocent people around the world. Which is also on the list of things God calls an abomination.
Now this is just a start to who I will no longer serve in my business. I’m currently writing them in a list to be posted in the front window for all to see. I’m sure you’ll understand why I won’t be serving divorcees, disobedient children, those unmarried folks living together, disrespectful teenagers, people who overeat, wives who don’t submit to their husbands, men with long hair, anyone who lusts or is covetous, those who don’t love their neighbor more than themselves, menstruating women, anyone wearing fabric blends, those who deceive others, those who think evil thoughts, argumentative people, anyone who calls me a fool and…
well I tell you what, you just stop by my business and check out the list for yourself and if you’re not on it, you come right on in and I will serve you with a smile. Okay? Thanks again for protecting my religious freedom!
